Private Sandbar Hopping in Key West

A private boat, your own captain, and the best sandbars in Key West. Both of our boats run the same route, so you pick the boat that fits your party and your budget, and we take care of the rest.

The first sandbar is about 25 minutes from the marina, and it only gets better from there. We stay longer at the spots you love and cruise past the rest. Wade the shallows at Jewfish Sandbar, wind through the mangrove trails of Mud Keys, and on the 4-hour trip head further out to mingle with the locals at Snipe Point.

Sunset Cruise that goes to the sandbar. Are you tired of crowded boats floating around the crowded harbor? Bring your loved ones and our captain will take you out for a private boat cruise into the backcountry waters. We will anchor over the sandbar and watch the sun go down while there. You’ll be able to jump in the knee to waist deep water and beautiful pictures with sun setting behind you while you’re standing in the “middle of the ocean”. The Hurricane 27 ft deck boat does. It has a flushable marine toilet for liquids only, plus a fresh water rinse so you can rinse off the salt water. If a bathroom matters to your group, choose the Hurricane.
To some extent – yes. Sometimes we will have to because the weather isn’t always ideal and we want to stay in shallow, calm waters to keep the trip enjoyable.
No. Every trip is private to your group.
Absolutely. We have a portable Bluetooth speaker on board, so you can play your own music from your phone.
We have an iced cooler with bottled waters. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks, beers and snacks.
Not on one boat, unfortunately. Per our license the Hurricane carries up to 6 passengers and the Robalo up to 4, and each child counts as one, just like adults. For a bigger group, book both boats together: see Private Sandbar Trips for Large Groups.
Absolutely. Both of our boats go out together, side by side, so a group of up to 10 can share the day. Details on the Private Sandbar Trips for Large Groups page.
There is always a chance for that and we often do, however we can’t promise that you’ll see them because they swim around freely and do not hang out in the same place.
We do not. We are not a fishing charter, and we think our boats are just too pretty to have smelly fish guts all over them.
48hrs before the scheduled boat trip to get a full refund if you happen to change your plans. All our trips are weather permitting so we reserve the right to cancel your trip if we don’t think that conditions are safe – in this case you would get full refund also.
